Role Overview

Join our Front Office leadership team as a Front Office Manager at the Hyatt at Olive 8. The Front Office Manager is responsible for all duties of the front desk operation, including staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. The position requires strong communication skills and leadership abilities.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include short and long term planning, managing the hotel's Front Office operation, developing and recommending budgets, and maintaining guest room inventory. The Front Office Manager will also respond to guest requests and complaints, analyze and resolve issues, and maintain excellent communication with the housekeeping department.

Requirements

  • 4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience (typically with Hyatt)
  • Previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
