Role Overview

The Front Office Manager is responsible for all duties of the front desk operation, including staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. This position will respond quickly to guest requests and/or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction.

The Front Office Manager will adhere to Hyatt Hotels Corporation guidelines and core values, interview and select colleagues, train and schedule them, and ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Hyatt values.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years work experience
  • At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Have Forbes Luxury Travel Guide Foundational Training and/or Exposure
  • Experience with hotel operations software sales programs
  • Skillful in project planning/tasks and able to prioritize projects/tasks
  • Highly organized and efficient, pro-active and results driven, and ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
