Role OverviewAs a Frontend Engineer Intern, you'll gain exposure to systems that power partner logins, data exchange, content sharing, and more, while working alongside a team that values curiosity, technical depth, and clean code. You'll collaborate with the front-end team to build reusable UI components, internal tools, and features that support TikTok Open Platform.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the front-end team, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in daily standups, code reviews, and technical discussions, debugging and optimizing frontend code, and contributing to real product development efforts.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2027
- Basic understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Willingness to learn modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Vue)
- Curiosity about how things work — for example, understanding how an HTTP request is structured and how to debug it
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
