Fulfillment Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associates at Ryder work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. They support distribution across the US, handling retail items and using RF scanners. The team focuses on continuous improvement and prioritizes safety.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include packaging, kitting, and assembling orders, loading and unloading trailers, ensuring scanning is correct, and performing picking and packing duties. Associates may also be required to operate manual and automated equipment, such as powered industrial trucks and packaging lines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of related warehouse experience required
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use
• Work overtime as assigned
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
