Job Description
The Assistant Manager is a hourly employee responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees. They must uphold theatre policies, train and develop non-management employees, and perform various administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Upholding and administering all theatre policies
  • Training, developing, coaching and supervising of non-management employees
  • Performing all staff positions as required
  • Operating all projection and audio-visual equipment
  • Monitoring risk management
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts
  • Knowledge and compliance of dress code
  • Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending, and terminating of any cast member
  • Controlling costs, including direct operating expenses
  • Supervising theatre maintenance, marketing, and promotions of feature film engagements
