Job Description
The Assistant Manager is a hourly employee responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees. They must uphold theatre policies, train and develop non-management employees, and perform various administrative tasks.
Requirements
Regular and consistent attendance
Upholding and administering all theatre policies
Training, developing, coaching and supervising of non-management employees
Performing all staff positions as required
Operating all projection and audio-visual equipment
Monitoring risk management
Ensuring guest satisfaction
Counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts
Knowledge and compliance of dress code
Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending, and terminating of any cast member
Controlling costs, including direct operating expenses
Supervising theatre maintenance, marketing, and promotions of feature film engagements
