Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager assists the direct leader with store management responsibilities, including supervising day-to-day store activities and developing operational action plans. They also identify training opportunities to develop and grow the team. The role involves communicating company strategy and core values, monitoring the competitive environment, and participating in the interviewing process for store personnel. The Assistant Store Manager ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies to minimize losses. They also maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage at all times, and assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and achieving the store payroll and total loss budget.
Requirements
Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader of necessary adjustments
Provide product feedback to the direct leader
Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and achieving the store payroll and total loss budget
Benefits
Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour
Year 2 - $26.50 per hour
