Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and developing operational action plans. You'll identify training opportunities to develop and grow the team and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
  • Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports
  • Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Monitors the competitive environment and informs the direct leader regarding necessary adjustments
  • Provides product feedback and recommends new or discontinued items
  • Participates in the interviewing process for store personnel
  • Communicates information to store personnel and ensures adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies
  • Identifies and rectifies hazards, maintains store cleanliness standards, and proper store signage
  • Assists the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels, merchandising product, and ensuring product quality and freshness
