Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and developing operational action plans to improve operating results. They will also identify training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
Requirements
Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding necessary adjustments
Provide product feedback and recommendations to the direct leader
Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
Communicate information and developments to store personnel
Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and cash control policies
Identify and rectify hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment
Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
Assist the direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget
Supervise the day-to-day operations of their team and ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
