Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans.

Requirements

  • Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
  • Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding necessary adjustments
  • Provide product feedback to the direct leader
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
  • Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
  • Ensure operational customer concerns are resolved in the direct leader's absence
  • Identify and rectify hazards, maintain store equipment, and ensure store cleanliness standards
  • Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and achieving store payroll and total loss budget
