Job Description
Join our team as an Assistant Store Manager and take on key store management responsibilities including supervising day-to-day store activities and developing operational action plans. Assist with managing schedules, training opportunities, and overall store performance.
Requirements
Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding necessary adjustments
Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
Communicate information regarding team milestones, developments, and concerns
Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and cash control policies
Identify and rectify hazards and maintain store equipment in proper working order
Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and achieving the store payroll and total loss budget
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the team and ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
