Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
Requirements
Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
Monitors the competitive environment and informs the direct leader regarding necessary adjustments
Provides product feedback and participates in interviewing process for store personnel
Ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels
Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team and ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
