Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results, establishes and communicates job responsibilities, and identifies training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Requirements

  • Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
  • Identify training and development opportunities
  • Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company’s competitive position
  • Provide product feedback to the direct leader
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
  • Communicate information to the team
  • Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
  • Ensure an appropriate resolution of operational customer concerns
  • Identify and rectify hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment in proper working order
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
  • Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels through appropriate product ordering
  • Merchandise product neatly to maximize sales
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage
  • Assist their direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of their team
  • Ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
  • Comply with all established company policies and procedures
