Job Description
Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results, establishes and communicates job responsibilities, and identifies training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
Requirements
Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
Identify training and development opportunities
Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company’s competitive position
Provide product feedback to the direct leader
Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
Communicate information to the team
Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
Ensure an appropriate resolution of operational customer concerns
Identify and rectify hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment in proper working order
Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels through appropriate product ordering
Merchandise product neatly to maximize sales
Ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage
Assist their direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees
Supervise the day-to-day operations of their team
Ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
Comply with all established company policies and procedures
