Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans to improve store performance. You'll also be responsible for training and developing the team to achieve enhanced performance.

  • Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans
  • Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations
  • Monitors the competitive environment within the community
  • Provides product feedback and recommends new items to carry or those that should be discontinued
  • Participates in the interviewing process for store personnel
  • Ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
  • Identifies and rectifies hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment in proper working order
  • Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
  • Assists the direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees
