Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans to improve store performance. You'll also be responsible for training and developing the team to achieve enhanced performance.
Requirements
Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans
Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations
Monitors the competitive environment within the community
Provides product feedback and recommends new items to carry or those that should be discontinued
Participates in the interviewing process for store personnel
Ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
Identifies and rectifies hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment in proper working order
Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
Assists the direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees
Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team
Complies with all established company policies and procedures
