Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and developing operational action plans. The role requires a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate direct reports.

Requirements

  • Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
  • Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Understand and communicate company strategy and core values
  • Monitor competitive environment and inform direct leader of necessary adjustments
  • Provide product feedback and recommendations
  • Participate in interviewing process for store personnel
  • Communicate information to direct leader and team
  • Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and cash control policies
  • Resolve operational customer concerns
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper signage
  • Assist direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and merchandising product
  • Ensure quality and freshness of products and accuracy of product signage
  • Achieve store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and train new employees
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of team and escalate issues as necessary
  • Ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
