Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Requirements

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training and development opportunities to enhance performance
• Communicate and model company values to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees
• Monitor competitive environment and inform direct leader regarding adjustments necessary to maintain competitive position
• Participate in interviewing process for store personnel
• Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and cash control policies
• Identify and rectify hazards and maintain store equipment in proper working order
• Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
• Assist with maintaining proper stock levels and merchandising product neatly
• Ensure quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage
• Supervise day-to-day operations of team and ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely manner
