Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Requirements

  • Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
  • Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
  • Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Understands and communicates company strategy and values
  • Monitors competitive environment and informs direct leader
  • Provides product feedback and recommendations
  • Participates in interviewing process for store personnel
  • Communicates information to team and ensures adherence to policies and procedures
  • Ensures store cleanliness and proper stock levels
  • Merchandises product and ensures quality and freshness
  • Assists direct leader with achieving payroll and total loss budget
  • Supervises day-to-day operations and ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities
