Job Description
Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensure overall store performance, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans.

Requirements

  • Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports
  • Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Monitor the competitive environment and inform the direct leader regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company's competitive position
  • Provide product feedback and participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
  • Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies
  • Identify and rectify hazards, maintain store cleanliness standards, and proper store signage
  • Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels, achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, and training new employees
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of their team and ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
