Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Requirements

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs the direct leader of necessary adjustments
• Provides product feedback and recommends new items to carry or discontinue
• Participates in the interviewing process for store personnel
• Communicates information and developments to store personnel
• Ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures and cash control policies
• Ensures proper ergonomics and maintains store equipment in proper working order
• Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
• Assists the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels and merchandising product neatly
• Ensures the quality and freshness of products and accuracy of product signage
• Assists their direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team
• Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner
• Complies with all established company policies and procedures
