Role OverviewThis role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment.
What You Will Do
Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles, make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, perform quality control checks, and maintain records.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 2 to 4 years of Diesel Mechanic experience/background, coursework in diesel mechanic, and ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
Requirements
- GSE/Diesel Mechanic Level 3
- 2 to 4 years of Diesel Mechanic experience/background
- Coursework in diesel mechanic
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess valid US driver’s license
- Must have authorization to work in the USA
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport Badge
- Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
