Full Time Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a Full Time Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Iowa 80 Truckstop. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to start at up to $35.00 an hour based on experience. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, completing thorough vehicle inspections, and performing repairs on Medium/Heavy Trucks and Trailers. You will also be required to follow all company safety policies and procedures, work safely, and as part of a team.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing issues with various systems, and working well with a team to provide excellent customer service. You will also be required to possess tools to properly perform repairs within our scope of service and have a desire to learn and grow professionally.

Requirements

• At least one full year of experience required
• Perform preventative maintenance on Medium/Heavy Trucks and Trailers
• Diagnose and repair issues with various systems
• Work well with a team to provide excellent customer service
• Possess tools to properly perform repairs within our scope of service
• Have a desire to learn and grow professionally
• Have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license
• Pass a background check, physical, and random drug testing
