Job Description
The Director of Project Management oversees high-level strategic initiatives/projects, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration, IT infrastructure deployments and or reorganization, and capital construction projects.
Requirements
5+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, specifically managing large-scale, complex projects.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, Construction Management, IT, or engineering; Master's degree/MBA is preferred.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) preferred.
Strong financial acumen (budgeting/forecasting), strategic planning, risk management, and vendor management.
Effective communication skills, including listening, communication, and collaboration with many people.
Leadership skills, including motivating others to complete projects according to budgets, schedules, and standards.
Problem-solving skills, including finding solutions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Ability to juggle several projects at a time, often with conflicting schedules.
Flexibility in handling issues that threaten project goals.
Validated ability to maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, facility personnel, internal and external clients.
