Role OverviewXanitos is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 1st & 2nd Shift at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. The individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim, sweeping and/or vacuuming floor, dusting furniture and equipment, polishing metalwork, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills, and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has experience in the janitorial industry and medical cleaning, and is able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Requirements
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
