Job Description
The Staenberg-Loup JCC Early Leaning School is looking for a Lead Qualified Classroom Teacher to create a fun and safe environment for children's development, while implementing excellent educational programming. The teacher will be responsible for providing a quality educational program that reflects the goals of the school, and will collaborate with colleagues and families to create lessons that guide children's active engagement in classroom environments.

Requirements

  • PDIS Early Childhood Teacher Credential 3.0 (Level II or higher)
  • First-Aid/CPR
  • AA or BA/BS in field related to Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of a constructivist approach to learning and/or emergent curricula
  • Prior experience working with young children
  • Experience with writing and enacting lesson plans
  • Experience with creating and displaying documentation of children's work
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of, and respect, for the rules and regulations of the Staenberg Loup Jewish Community Center
