Role OverviewThe purpose of this job is to ensure residents receive appropriate personal care and are enabled to attain their optimum level of functioning. To ensure that the center remains in compliance with organization, local, state and federal regulations.
What You Will Do
Coordinates resident care in conjunction with Administrator, Director of Nursing and other disciplines within Center to ensure quality care. Ensure care plans are implemented and updated based on resident needs. Answer call lights and communicate needs to appropriate person when unable to independently meet the request. Complete daily rounds with incoming shift and provide shift report to oncoming personnel.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a Licensed Practical Nurse License in good standing, a High School diploma or GED, and CPR certification. Preferred candidates have 2 years experience in long term care and in the management of resident care. The role involves lifting 80-300 lbs with assistance and frequent standing and walking.
