Role OverviewWorks under the direction of the physician and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Utilizes the nursing process to make continuing assessments of the patient’s total health needs; implements nursing interventions based on assessment data; develops and implements the nursing plan of care and evaluates the patient’s response.
What You Will Do
Provides evidence-based care to prevent the development of a Healthcare Acquired Condition and hospital readmissions. Practices standard precautions during patient contact and while handling contaminated materials. Collects patient health data, analyzes assessment data to identify care needs, and formulates a plan to provide appropriate care based on identified patient needs.

Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience for incumbent hired into a full-time shift working a weekend, evening, or night shift. Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, and manage technical business equipment.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
- Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire
- ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 5 years of experience for incumbent hired into a full-time shift working a weekend, evening, or night shift
