Role OverviewThe Full-Time Operator will work in a 24/7/365 environment, assessing incoming traffic data, determining traffic report content and priority, and communicating with emergency service personnel and transportation officials. The operator will work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may be required to work overtime. The operator will be responsible for monitoring automated traffic management systems, watching CCTV video monitors, and maintaining radio and telephone communications.
What You Will Do
The main duties of the Full-Time Operator include monitoring automated traffic management systems, watching CCTV video monitors, monitoring emergency frequency scanners, communicating with the public and government agencies, and maintaining radio and telephone communications. The operator will also be responsible for providing written reports and performing other ancillary duties as determined by the Operations Manager.
