Full Time Police Officer

The City of Lincoln Park is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing laws and maintaining order in the community.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of a Full Time Police Officer include responding to emergency calls, patrolling the city, and investigating crimes. The officer will also be responsible for interacting with the public, gathering evidence, and testifying in court.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate must also be able to pass a background investigation, psychological and physical exam with drug screen.

Requirements

• 21 years of age
• Legally employable in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• No felony convictions
• Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
• Must meet all MCOLES employment standards
• Certified or able to be certified as a Michigan Law Enforcement Officer
