Job Description
This position is responsible for performing accounting functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in support of the various business entities within Pathology Specialists of Arizona, LLP and Clin-Path Associates, P.C. The position reports to the Controller.

Requirements

  • Participates in maintenance of the general ledger and financial accounting systems.
  • Monthly reconciliation and balancing of bank accounts.
  • Reconciles deposits and revenue distribution between corporate entities.
  • Applies accounting principles to accounts payable and cash control functions.
  • Produce and enter monthly journal entries for multiple companies.
  • Oversee check printing.
  • Manipulates raw financial data to create meaningful operating reports.
  • Manages payroll reports and payments for various corporate divisions.
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by properly verifying, preparing and recording transactions.
  • Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitors and reports variances in financial positions.
  • Generates custom spreadsheets and analysis as requested to enhance standard financial reporting.
  • Participates in accounts payable processes.
  • Participates in the generation of monthly financial statements.
  • Participates in monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Assists with pension plan maintenance, distribution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assists with benefit support functions.
