ALDI is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join their Store Manager Trainee program. In this role, you will develop skills and knowledge to lead your own store, delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
  • Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results
  • Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager
  • Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination
  • Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, and third-party vendors
  • Collaborates in the resolution of any issues that arise within the store
  • Fosters a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Trains and develops store personnel to achieve their maximum professional potential
  • Observes and evaluates employees' work performance and provides feedback and coaching
  • Ensures store personnel comply with company customer services guidelines
  • Models, communicates and supervises compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepares, manages and revises weekly schedules to ensure accuracy
  • Ensures store personnel adhere to expense guidelines and inventory procedures
  • Attends and participates in meetings and plans and conducts meetings
