Role OverviewThe Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of fresh floral products to our customers. This is a full-time role responsible for operating a refrigerated van to deliver fresh floral products to flower shops throughout the Indianapolis, IN area.
What You Will Do
Safely operate a company van to transport floral products for daily deliveries, ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining product quality during transport, load and unload shipments while properly handling floral products and related supplies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb in and out of vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading products throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles (vans, 16-ft box trucks, or similar vehicles preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfort using GPS, maps, and route planning tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to workplace safety
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings
