Role OverviewJoin our Embedded Payments team as a FullStack Software Engineer to build and scale our cloud-native payment orchestration platform. You will help process significant transaction volume across multiple Xplor brands while maintaining software development best practices. You will write thoughtful code from API contracts to databases and from data models to UI.
What You Will Do
Execute the full software development lifecycle, design and build well-tested features, produce technical specifications, and integrate components into cohesive systems. You will also contribute to verification plans, quality assurance procedures, and deployment guardrails.

Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent
- Strong Node.js experience and demonstrated ability to ship production backend services
- Experience building React-based frontends that consume RESTful APIs
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Proficiency with Git, agile delivery (Scrum preferred), and testing frameworks like Jest
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
