Fund Manager - Real Estate

Alter Domus is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join their Fund Administration Real Estate team. The role involves managing client deliverables, training and reviewing staff, identifying efficiency opportunities, and adhering to compliance requirements. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and experience in fund administration.

What You Will Do

The Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing client deliverables, including financial statements, investor statements, and capital call notices. They will also train, review, and oversee staff, identify and execute on efficiency opportunities, and communicate improvements to business unit leaders and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
• 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Proactive interest in learning, inquiring on, and mastering new investment concepts, accounting rules, and service processes
• Experience managing and directly overseeing a team
• Proactive, client-oriented approach with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties to meet deadlines and resolve issues
• Outstanding organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Ability to remain poised in a deadline-driven environment
