Job Description
The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a Supervisory Biologist, Wildlife Management Specialist to work in the Fish and Wildlife Program, under the guidance of a supervisory official. This is a unique position focused on researching, implementing, and overseeing scientific research and program-wide operations for wildlife management. The position involves coordinating scientific research, writing performance evaluations, and acting as a subject matter expert for other agencies. Requires strong skills in procurement and contract management.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in one of the Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in wildlife biology and/or the development of wildlife management programs.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license in New Jersey.
