What You Will Do
Maintains and installs gas underground distribution systems, installs electric underground cable, pedestal stakes, and ground rods. Locates and repairs leaks, reads gas meters, taps mains, and makes connections. Performs incidental customer servicing work, such as appliance inspections and meter exchanges.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, completion of a gas technician apprenticeship, and passing the final position qualification examination. Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
