Job Description
JBS USA is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor, 2nd shift, to oversee Quality Assurance initiatives to meet USDA and customer requirements. The role involves leading a team, implementing programs, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures. Leadership and continuous improvement are key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Expertise in product specifications, GMP, SSOP, Export procedures, product labeling and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor and evaluate plant Quality Assurance personnel.
  • Liaison with USDA and customer.
  • Implement corrective actions.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Animal, Meat, or Food Science preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of Quality Assurance management experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of Quality Assurance, Food Microbiology, Plant Sanitation, Process Control and Food Safety.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent problem analysis skills
