Role OverviewGuitar Center is a music retailer that encourages staff to find their own individual sound. The Operations Manager will lead the team accountable for ensuring merchandise is properly received, stocked, and merchandised according to planograms and standards. The role requires creating and nurturing a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
What You Will Do
The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring proper staffing levels, training operations associates, shipping and receiving gear, maintaining the facility, loss prevention, safety, inventory management, cash management, and business reporting. Additional duties include conducting standardized signage/pricing audits, driving sales, and opening/closing the store.

Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience working in retail or in a warehouse setting
- Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance
- Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
