Role OverviewA GE Vernova accelerator, GE Vernova Advanced Research is driving strategy and leading research & development efforts to execute on the business's mission to help power the energy transition. This program is designed for recent graduates who have obtained a Master's degree within the past 12 months and are ready to launch a career in industry R&D.
What You Will Do
Work on 3 technical assignments over 3 years in a variety of technical disciplines, grow technical expertise in chosen field, collaborate with diverse teams to develop innovative technologies for the energy industry.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or related STEM discipline.
- Desire to begin an industry position rather than immediately pursue additional academic endeavors.
- Demonstrated research experience in an internship or university thesis work encompassing critical thinking, scientific reasoning, data analytics and interpretation, and teamwork.
- Prior intern, co-op, or research experience.
- Passion for technology and engineering research and commitment to technical excellence.
- Analytical and creative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to community involvement.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- High level of adaptability and passion for learning.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
