Job Description
The Academic Coordinator leads initiatives that promote academic achievement, postsecondary readiness, and instructional improvement among GEAR UP students in St. Mary Parish Schools. The Coordinator supports tutoring, test preparation, dual enrollment, and other evidence-based academic interventions.

Requirements

  • Coordinate mentoring programs, leadership workshops, and family engagement events
  • Design and coordinate tutoring, enrichment, and college readiness programming
  • Develop and deliver college and career readiness sessions
  • Collaborate with school personnel to integrate GEAR UP academic services
  • Analyze student data to identify academic needs and track outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and program effectiveness
