Job Description
The Maryland Department of Labor is seeking a GED Examiner to create a positive and safe testing environment for residents of an adult maximum correctional facility. The examiner will administer GED exams, schedule and prepare students for exams, and train staff to become certified to give GED Ready and GED exams.

Requirements

  • Six years of experience planning and conducting employee development and training
  • Experience working with incarcerated individuals and/or at-risk population
  • Experience giving assessments
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience planning, conducting or coordinating training or staff development activities
