Job Description
The General Activities Therapist 2- 20026516, 20026513 position at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction plans, conducts, and monitors general recreation and personal development activities for inmates. The role requires serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team, analyzing, assessing, and evaluating individual treatment goals and activities.

Requirements

  • 30 months of experience with coaching, personal training, &/or fitness instruction or 30 mos. exp. providing work direction to incarcerated persons & training &/or development.
  • Completion of associate degree in recreation; 12 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
  • Completion of undergraduate core program in recreation; 6 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
  • 6 mos. exp. as General Activities Therapist 1, 44211.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
