Role OverviewThe custodian cleans and keeps in an orderly condition in areas such as classrooms, bathrooms, offices, cafeterias, common areas, gym and fitness areas, and perimeter grounds. Duties involve a combination of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, or other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
