Role OverviewThe General Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and senior management on corporate, regulatory, contractual, employment, governance, litigation, and business matters. This role will provide practical, business-focused legal guidance that supports strategic decision-making while appropriately managing risk.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of agreements, overseeing corporate governance and corporate secretary matters, maintaining corporate records, and managing outside counsel relationships.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant legal experience
- Experience advising businesses in financial services, wealth management, investment advisory, insurance, real estate, banking, securities, or another highly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, employment law, regulatory compliance, litigation management, and risk mitigation
- Experience supporting executive leadership, business owners, or senior stakeholders with strategic legal advice
