General English & Volunteer Coordinator

The General English & Volunteer Coordinator oversees the General English Language program and volunteer coordination efforts to engage supporters in NSC programs. This position will coordinate the recruitment, registration, and placement of students for the General English Language program, as well as supervise classes and volunteer teachers. The position will also oversee recruitment and onboarding of volunteers, and engagement of volunteers and donors to support client and agency-wide events.

What You Will Do

Promote General English classes and recruit new and returning students through community outreach and internal referrals. Recruit, onboard, and supervise volunteer instructors, coordinate classroom support, and conduct periodic class observations.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working with English as a Second Language or education programs and working with volunteers preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Valid drivers’ license with access to reliable transportation or eligible for shared auto program is highly recommended but not required
