Job Description
Haselden Construction seeks a General Foreman to join their team, providing a positive and challenging work environment and offering a range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401K plan, and paid time off. The General Foreman will be responsible for supervising crews and ensuring a safe working environment, creating plans of the day and conducting site safety audits.

Requirements

  • Reports all near misses and first aids to Superintendent
  • Take responsibility for crews/subcontractor safety
  • Ensures crew members are inspecting tools daily and removing tools offsite immediately if any are outside of manufacture specifications
  • Maintains a clean work area and inspects for tripping hazards daily
  • Conducts daily crew stretch and flex exercises
  • Creates the Plan of the Day and Hob Hazard Analysis
  • Verifies equipment inspection logs
  • Supervises routine inspections of personal fall arrest systems
  • Participates in weekly site safety audits
  • Ensures crew correctly installs and maintains site fence and other storm water BMP's
  • Completes Weekly Work Plans, forecasts, and ensures job has proper tools and materials
  • Ensures crew is organized and completes tool inventory daily
  • Trains others to read blueprints and record concrete quantities and productivity units daily
  • Completes pre-pour & post-pour checklists for each pour
  • Assists Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in managing subcontractors
