Role OverviewThis is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The General/Interdisciplinary Engineer will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Electronic Systems PEO (AFLCMC/ES) in managing and executing the modernization, design, development, testing, fielding, and sustainment of various software and hardware within the ESS Portfolio. The engineer will conduct and support all engineering and technical activities required during the material solution analysis, technology, engineering, and manufacturing development, production and deployment, and operation and support phases of the systems acquisition process.
What You Will Do
The engineer will design and architectures, conduct systems architectural analyses, track and ensure system architecture and interoperability requirements, translate DoD user requirements into system requirements, provide engineering analysis of system training, training equipment and simulator requirements, and develop and utilize analytical, simulation, MBSE and digital engineering analysis techniques to optimize system performance and/or system effectiveness.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Level Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline from ABET accredited university and 5 years of experience, OR 10 years of directly related experience, 3 of which must be in DoD
- Experience supporting engineering and technical efforts within DoD environments
- Technical skills in USAF command and control reporting systems, tactical radar, shelter and radome systems, aircraft trainer pods, radios and communication systems, EW systems, or threat emitters
- Network engineering experience within a DoD environment (preferably command and control, access control systems (ACS) and intrusion detection system (IDS)
