Role OverviewThis is a professional position responsible for conducting hearings and preparing findings and recommendations for the referring judge’s consideration. The role involves conducting legal research, reviewing case files, and communicating with court staff, attorneys, and litigants. Periodic day travel is required, and the headquarters may be subject to change based on the needs of the Court.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of this role include conducting hearings, preparing written findings and recommendations, and attending workshops/trainings to stay current on family law issues. The role also involves reviewing motions and case law, analyzing information/evidence presented at hearings, and making legal determinations.

Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Member of good standing in the Florida Bar
- Five years of experience practicing law, including at least one year of family law
