Role OverviewWe are in search of a talented and passionate General Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team! The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for repairs in guest rooms but may assist with maintenance requests in other areas of the hotel.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities will include repairs in guest rooms, preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, tile repair, wall vinyl repair, and assisting with maintenance requests in other areas of the hotel.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, occasional overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Previous General hotel maintenance experience is a plus, and experience involving painting and tile/wall repair is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.)
- Good communications skills
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
