Role Overview

A General Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of a business direction, including strategy, P&L, product, team, and overall results. The goal is to run the direction as a business and take full responsibility for its growth, profitability, and performance.

What You Will Do

The General Manager will be responsible for the card product end-to-end, from issuing and processing infrastructure to activation, spending, subscription, cashback, KYC, provider relationships, and unit economics.

Requirements

  • Strong end-to-end experience with card products
  • Experience with issuing, processing, BaaS, or card infrastructure
  • Experience launching or scaling a card program
  • Strong understanding of card unit economics
  • Ability to model customer margin, transaction economics, issuance costs, and LTV
  • Experience negotiating directly with card providers
  • Experience managing dependency on external providers and ideally reducing vendor lock-in
  • Strong product and commercial mindset
  • Experience owning revenue or P&L is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach
  • Technical literacy and ability to work directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing product or engineering teams
  • Experience in fintech, neobanking, payments, crypto cards, wallets, or exchanges is highly relevant
