Job Description
Acuity is seeking a General Manager – Personal Lines Underwriting to oversee the strategic direction, management, and growth of the personal lines department. The GM leads and coaches a group of Managers to ensure the integrity of underwriting processes while maintaining high levels of productivity.

Requirements

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the Personal Lines space, collaborating with cross-functional departments to provide feedback and ideas, contributing to the overall direction and success of initiatives.
  • Provides counsel, advice, coaching and guidance on complex underwriting decisions, risk selection, pricing, and risk assessment all in adherence to company guidelines and standards.
  • Works together with Market Strategy, Actuarial, and Distribution to ensure a growing book of profitable business.
