Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall management and operation of the hotel, driving revenue, maximizing profit, and ensuring quality, while maintaining high service and quality standards according to brand.

Requirements

  • Effective management of assigned staff
  • Communication of guest feedback to hotel staff
  • Assistance with guest service and training of hotel associates
  • Active participation in hotel sales efforts
  • Maintenance of accurate budgets and forecasts
  • Direction to operations team to ensure service and quality needs
  • Identification and implementation of ideas to maximize guest satisfaction scores
  • Review and release of payroll and labor management
  • Preparation and management of hotel budget and forecasting efforts
  • Communication of financial forecasts and critiques of month end financial results
  • Management of company assets and maintenance of necessary training records
  • Assistance with ongoing training and development of hotel associates
  • Effective interviewing, hiring, coaching, and developing of hotel associates and management team
  • Motivation of hotel staff and management of annual associate turnover
